AS-350 · Scratch Resistance and Self-Lubricating Properties

SpiderMaker AS-350 is an engineering UV resin developed for surface friction, sliding contact, and everyday scratching. It combines scratch resistance with self-lubricating properties, making it suitable for functional parts that undergo frequent contact, sliding, or repeated operation.

The material can reduce friction in general-use conditions and improve resistance to everyday surface scratches. Actual scratch and sliding performance will still vary with the contacting material, surface roughness, load, speed, and operating environment. Verify performance with a test part before final use.

Scratch-Resistant Surface · Self-Lubricating · Suitable for Sliding Contact

For Frequently Operated, Repeated-Contact, and Low-Load Sliding Parts

In-House R&D · Made in Taiwan

SpiderMaker develops the AS-350 formulation in-house and manages production and quality control in Pingzhen, Taoyuan, Taiwan. Raw-material selection, formulation, color control, and product inspection are all handled by its professional team.

SpiderMaker AS-350 Features

Improved Surface Scratch Resistance

Under everyday contact and light friction, the surface is less likely to show obvious scratches, making it suitable for exposed parts where appearance must be maintained.

Self-Lubricating Properties

Suitable for parts with relative sliding or repeated contact, helping reduce friction and sticking during operation.

Balanced Rigidity and Toughness

With a tensile modulus of 1135 MPa and flexural modulus of 1449 MPa, it maintains basic structural support while providing a degree of impact resistance.

Suitable for Frequently Operated Parts

Suitable for buttons, knobs, sliders, guides, protective covers, and other parts that are frequently touched or repeatedly operated.

Fine Detail

Reproduces small structures, edges, and surface textures for models that require appearance, sliding function, and assembly performance.

Broad 405nm Compatibility

Compatible with Phrozen, Elegoo, Anycubic, and other 405nm LCD / DLP UV resin printers.

Recommended Applications

Sliders and Guides Low-Load Bushings Buttons and Knobs Protective Covers and Housings Fixture Contact Surfaces Frequently Operated Parts

Do not use it directly for high-load bearings, prolonged high-speed friction, or safety-critical parts without prior validation.

Print Settings

Recommended Phrozen printer settings for AS-350 are available on the UV resin print settings page. Click the button below to go directly to the AS-350 section.

Published settings are based primarily on a 0.05 mm layer height and Phrozen printers. Exposure, lift, and retract settings should still be adjusted according to light intensity, release-film condition, model size, and ambient conditions.

Washing and Post-Curing Recommendations

  1. After printing, remove uncured surface resin with alcohol or isopropyl alcohol.
  2. Avoid prolonged soaking. After washing, make sure liquid on the surface, in holes, and inside the part has completely evaporated.
  3. After the part is completely dry, post-cure it evenly under UV light for 30 minutes.
  4. Rotate thick-walled, deep-hole, or complex parts so all surfaces receive more even UV exposure.

Use and Storage

  • Shake or stir the resin thoroughly before use to prevent pigments or other components from settling and affecting print results.
  • For sliding fits, hole positions, or assembly tolerances, print a test part first and adjust the model according to actual shrinkage and friction performance.
  • Self-lubricating properties do not eliminate maintenance requirements. For high-load, prolonged, or high-speed friction applications, separately validate wear and temperature rise.
  • This material has an HDT of 57.9°C and is not recommended for prolonged high-temperature exposure or high-temperature load-bearing environments.
  • Filter unused resin through a fine filter before returning it to the original bottle to prevent debris from entering.
  • Keep the resin away from direct sunlight and other UV sources. Seal the bottle tightly and store it in a cool place.
  • Wear suitable gloves and maintain good ventilation when handling liquid resin.
